National Aviary

The National Aviary is America’s only independent indoor nonprofit zoo dedicated exclusively to birds.

Enhanced safety protocols and capacity limitations allow National Aviary visitors to have an immersive experience as you journey through our lush habitats, interact with our aviculturists as they feed and care for our flock, explore the newly renovated Grasslands habitat, and meet signature species during engaging experiences!

National Aviary Parking Lot

Rate: $5 flat fee

Parking at the National Aviary is always available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Visitors may access the National Aviary entrance on Arch Street using the guided walkway through the Allegheny Commons Park. This accessible walkway starts at the National Aviary parking lot and runs parallel to the driveway.
