A party fit for a sloth! Help Wookiee and Vivien celebrate their birthdays during our Sloth Birthday Celebration!
10:15 am: Meet a rainforest friend like a sloth or armadillo in our theater! Seating is limited.
10:45 am: Venture to the Tropical Rainforest, and watch as Wookiee’s care team delivers his breakfast with a special birthday treat and fill you in on his life in the slow lane. You may even catch a glimpse of Wookiee up in the trees.
11 am – 1 pm: Celebrate the birthday duo! Stop by the Atrium to sign the birthday card for Vivien and Wookiee! Get creative and enjoy a sloth coloring sheet as your party favor.
12:30 pm: Plus see Valentino the sloth as he joins the celebration by signing a giant birthday card for Vivien and Wookiee during a special sloth talk. Seating is limited.

Parking at the National Aviary is always available on a first-come first-serve basis.
Visitors may access the National Aviary entrance on Arch Street using the guided walkway through the Allegheny Commons Park. This accessible walkway starts at the National Aviary parking lot and runs parallel to the driveway.
