According to Vicky Clark (curator and writer), “It isn’t difficult to be both a feminist and a curator in Pittsburgh; it’s effing hard.
Vicky Clark said…..For the longest time, few cared, and I wasn’t in a position to do much. Even when I began to have opportunities, not many understood or cared about what I did. But I never gave up; I couldn’t, even if I tried. As a child of the sixties, I believe that I can have an impact on a small scale, in a way that cannot be measured in our outcome-obsessed culture. Hear my story, and let’s discuss how we can affect change for women and for artists in this crazy world”.
