Commitment to Event Safety

As in-person arts experiences continue to reopen throughout Allegheny County and beyond, our first concern is the health and safety of artists, staff, and audiences like you.

Each presenting organization and venue featured on Artsburgh has adopted varying levels of safety and health protocols to help protect you as you enjoy Pittsburgh’s world-class arts experiences once again. Venues and organizations will continue to maintain and adjust their protocols in response to the spread of COVID-19. Individual venues and facilities will reevaluate the health and safety policies as science dictates. If you’re not comfortable with attending in-person events, don’t forget to browse the virtual offerings on Artsburgh from the comfort of your own home!

The Artsburgh team encourages you to check for updated guidelines with each venue or facility prior to your visit.

Here are some of the safety measures you might notice as you return to the arts:

  • Indoor mask policies

Some facilities are requiring masks, while others do not.

  • Temporary proof of vaccination

For venues that are requiring proof of vaccination to attend events, proof must be shown at the time of the event. If you are medically unable to receive a vaccine, proof of negative COVID test may be required instead.

  • Flexible cancellation policies

  • Timed ticketing

  • Enhanced air filtration and quality

  • Touchless fixtures

  • Enhanced cleaning procedures

Again, these safety measures vary by venue. If you are a ticket holder with a question or concern, we encourage you to reach out directly to the event venue.
