KST and a diverse mix of community partners team up to offer a day filled with inspiring performances and family-friendly activities that affirm Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s example of activism, and reminds youth of their power to transform our world.
Stop by any time between Noon to 3pm for engaging activities hosted by Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - East Liberty Branch, Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh, Assemble, True "T" Entertainment, Pittsburghers for Public Transit, Union Project, Facepainting by Xaz Walker, Reading is FUNdamental Pittsburgh and Repair The World: Pittsburgh. -- Join us at the theater main-stage starting at 1pm for intergenerational performances emceed by Pittsburgh-based artivist Tori Snyder, and featuring the talents of Alumni Theater Company, Balafon West African Dance Ensemble, Nick Daniels/ The DANA Movement Ensemble 2.0, Dreams of Hope and hip-hop artist Fly Revolutionary Hustler (FRH).
