It is hard to believe that Pittsburgh in the Round is half a decade old. Five trips around the Sun. Five years of covering what we love the most - Pittsburgh’s outstanding theater community. We’ve had the privilege of attending countless shows, meet wonderful actors, dancers, directors, costume designers and everyone in between that makes the Pittsburgh performing arts community what it is, and it has been nothing less than amazing. We love what we do, and we love the community we do it for and that is why YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO OUR BIRTHDAY PARTY!!

We are throwing ourselves a birthday bash to commemorate our first post back in January 2014 when we were still “The Pittsburgh Stage” (a Pittsburgh Fringe Fest kickoff article). Join us at the Teamster Temple in Lawrenceville for snacks, tunes, and fun! Special guest entertainment includes Joanna Lowe and the Broken Word, The Zells, and DJ Shawn Watson!

While this is a birthday party for Pittsburgh in the Round, we want this to be an opportunity to thank the community from the bottom of our hearts for embracing us, supporting us, and for simply providing us with the opportunity to do what we do.

Drinks and bites will be provided by some of our favorite local restaurants! There’s no dress code so wear what you like! A tuxedo? Sure! Jammies? Even better! A Spacesuit? Absolutely. Just bring your game face for our photo booth and silent auction!
