Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is proud to be a regional host for the Rube Goldberg 2019 Machine Contest, providing student groups (ages 8-11) the opportunity to use their imaginations to transform a pile of junk into Rube Goldberg machines!

Student groups can enter to design machines that perform designated tasks, and can compete against other teams to advance to the Finals! This fun and competitive forum encourages teamwork and out-of-the-box problem solving on a level playing field and inventive learning environment.
