Families looking for a Black Friday activity that doesn’t involve standing in line at the mall can stop by the Mattress Factory on Friday, November 23 from 11am-4pm, for a family-friendly day of hands-on art activities.
With something for all ages, Family Day activities will include face painting by Rikki, zine making, a scavenger hunt, early learner explorations, teen activities, hot chocolate and dancing to the sounds of DJ Dave Zak.
Aside from providing a welcome break after all of the turkey, Family Day will also give visitors the opportunity to test drive a variety of the Mattress Factory’s regular educational programming. Each of the Family Day activity stations will reflect a different program, including Mini-Factory, ArtLab, INSTALL: Afternoons @ The Factory and Teen Art Cooperative.
Family Day is free with regular museum admission: $20; seniors and students $15; veterans $10; children under 6 free.
