The Glow Up is a one night only, all POC art and music event at Ace Hotel Pittsburgh.
This event will showcase works from 42 visual artists and 4 vendors, with 8 music performances.
All art shown will be for sale and all proceeds will go directly to the artist. Please consider purchasing art at this event to support the careers of those involved

THIS IS A FREE EVENT and it’s open to the public.

The common thread of this event is that everything shown will be from people of color, a historically underrepresented people in the arts, however there is no direct theme for the art being shown. This show attempts to highlight the diversity amongst POC and that they can't be fit into any stereotypes. Art making by POC is inherently political and revolutionary and POC shouldn't be demanded or expected to create works that speak exclusively on sociopolitical issues. There is no one look for POC art, as all POC are individuals.
