Midnight Radio's Frankenstein

Midnight Radio's Frankenstein

Presented by Bricolage Production Company at Bricolage

It’s Alive! But, what is it? A monster? A mistake? 200 years after it was brought to life, Midnight Radio reanimates Mary Shelley’s masterpiece, Frankenstein, like you’ve never seen or heard it before!

Go back in time as we spin the horrific tale of a tenacious young scientist hell-bent on recreating human life. A creature born so hideous, he was forsaken by his maker and shunned by society. Watch Frankenstein’s monster come alive with Foley sound effects, vintage commercial spoofs, and a dizzying array of vocal acrobatics!

A longtime fan favorite, our Midnight Radio series takes the form of a classic 1940s radio broadcast. In this show YOU are cast as the live studio audience, so play your part and don’t miss your cue when the applause sign flashes! Always memorable and never at midnight or on the radio, this series brings you back to a simpler time. Plus! Don’t miss our free Happy Half-hour 30 minutes before every show with free drinks and interactive retro-themed activities!

Midnight Radio is proud to be part of Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts! We’ve partnered with Tel Aviv’s Hanut31 to present a two-part limited-run engagement with a shorter version of Frankenstein. For more information click here
