Takara is a classically-trained visual artist from Garfield Heights in Pittsburgh, PA. Her talent grew from watching her mom paint pictures in watercolor and acrylic paint, and quickly evolved to an appreciation of color, textures, and forms. Inspired by prominent artist like Frida Kahlo, she decided to chase her dreams as an artist. With over ten years of teaching experience, Takara is passionate about helping kids express themselves through making art.
