This exhibition is a selection of art works from the artists' personal collections, which form this retrospective exhibition.
Women of Visions, Inc., founded in 1981, was formed to recognize the art of African American women, by mentoring, providing exhibition opportunities, and professional development in seeking artistic resources not easily obtainable or available. The artist represent a diverse group of artistic talents and styles, to include ceramics, collage, digital arts, fiber arts, jewelry making, mixed media, painting, photography, print making and sculpture.
