The Heinz History Center’s Destination Moon exhibit is hitting the big screen with a special one-night-only screening of “The Right Stuff” at Row House Cinema!
Take in this classic 1983 film starring Sam Shepard and Ed Harris and learn more about the original Mercury 7 astronauts and their macho, seat-of-the-pants approach to the space program. From the challenge of getting a rocket in the air in the first place, to Alan Shepard’s famous spacesuit accident on the launch pad, “The Right Stuff” is an oldie but a goodie.
Attendees will receive admission to the movie, hear about the Destination Moon exhibition from a History Center curator, and receive a free pass to see the exhibition at the History Center (a $19 value!)
Tickets are $10 per person, available through Row House Cinema.
