History at Play: Make it Pop

History at Play: Make it Pop

Presented by Heinz History Center at Heinz History Center

This special History at Play workshop is themed “Make it Pop: Art of the Everyday” and will feature a special guest appearance by nationally-acclaimed Pittsburgh pop artist Burton Morris!

Morris, who was born in Pittsburgh and trained at Carnegie Mellon University, will show how he created some of the most popular pop art in the world for clients, television shows, and celebrities. Children will be inspired by the work of Morris and other pop artists like Andy Warhol while creating their own colorful painting of an everyday object found in our galleries.

Registration is $10 for each youth participant and is free for History Center members. Please register online.
