The Theatre Factory is proud to present “God of Carnage,” a hilarious and thought-provoking play that won the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play.
A playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters.
The Theatre Factory’s production of God of Carnage is directed by Brandon Farneth. The cast features Mike Byrne (Alan Raleigh), Jennifer Fitzgerald (Veronica Novak), Jim Froehlich (Michael Novak), and Rebekah Hukill (Annette Raleigh). The production is stage managed by Courtney Cambal. God of Carnage was written by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton.
