Presented by Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras at Carnegie Music Hall (Oakland)

Join us for a spectacular evening of music, memories, and milestone celebrations at “Cheers to 50 Years,” an extraordinary event commemorating half a century of the Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras (TRYPO). As we toast to 50 years, we will be joined by special musical guest and Broadway sensation, Norm Lewis. Renowned for his powerful voice, Mr. Lewis will grace the stage with our awesome Young Peoples Orchestra, directed by Mr. Brian Worsdale, adding a touch of Broadway magic to this momentous occasion. After the concert, keep the celebration going at the Golden VIP reception, which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, birthday cake, an open bar (wine, beer, soda), and a chance to mingle with Norm Lewis! The Carnegie Music Hall has three floors, all accessible by elevator. Most seats on the second and third floor balconies have steps, with a railing, leading down to the front of the balcony.

There are two drop-off areas:

The Carriage Drive entrance on Forbes Avenue: Driving down Forbes there is a half-circle driveway on the right where the Natural History Museum’s entrance is located and the lobby is connected directly to the Carnegie Music Hall.
Rear of the museum: There is also an entrance at the rear of the Museum of Art next to the Sculpture Garden. There are glass power assist doors that you can use to enter the Museums at the lower level. You can then take the elevator to the first floor and take the ramp down to the first floor to get to the Carnegie Music Hall.
