Lorrie Anne Minicozzi – Long Island transplant to Gibsonia, PA, and M.F.A. Graduate Candidate of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) displays her prolific ensemble of large-scale foam sculptured installations at Pop Up Gallery in Gibsonia. Portals: A Cathartic Journey of Expression is pure visual eye candy with its surreal postmodern psychologically inspired dioramas and brilliant flair to amalgamate traditional and contemporary art movements. Each installation echoes an architecturally flavored nod to the introspection of the artist and examines the catharsis of a traumatic childhood and social anxiety.

Offering a range of mediums, including painting, drawing and sculpture – this multi medium experience is sensory challenging. Vibrant lighting, provocative scents, and natural ambiance invade the exhibit and invites the viewer to ruminate.
