Junction Trio

Presented by Chamber Music Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh Playhouse at Point Park University

Celebrated for its “infectious joy” and “unforced power and virtuosity” (Boston Music Intelligencer), Junction Trio makes its MainStage Live debut with a program featuring Ludwig van Beethoven’s Archduke trio, Charles Ives’ Trio for Violin, Cello, and Piano, and the Pittsburgh premiere of Bells and Whistles by local composer Amy Williams.

All three members of the Junction Trio tour internationally as soloists and as an ensemble. They are also all recipients of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant. Junction Trio features Stefan Jackiw (violin), Jay Campbell (cello), and Conrad Tao (piano).

About MainStage Live: This series welcomes some of the most incredible artists performing today and pairs striking new compositions with powerful classics, demonstrating the inspiring diversity of chamber music performance.
