The Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh, Inc. (FGP) and The North Hills Art Center are pleased to announce an exhibition featuring 56 nuanced works by 37 members of the Guild.

The Opening Reception is March 11 from 7-9 p.m. and the work can be seen until April 7, 2023 at 3432 Babcock Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Tuesday evenings, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. An Artists’ Talk will take place Sunday April 2 from 3 p.m.-5 p.m.

This non-juried show encourages both emerging and experienced artists to display pieces of their work which reflects on how they’ve grown over the years as an artist. The Member Spotlight exhibition touches on ideas of individual artistic exploration including initial inspiration, pivoting directions in one’s work, drawing from personal passions, obsession with techniques or materials, and the artists’ relationship with their own art.

The Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that promotes the appreciation of fiber arts and fosters its development and continuation through member support and outreach. Every year the Guild has member exhibitions, either juried or open, which allow the members to present their work alongside one another and invites the audience in for a greater understanding of what the fiber arts have to offer.
