In The Company Of Ghosts

In The Company Of Ghosts

Presented by In The Company Of Ghosts at New Hazlett Theater

In The Company Of Ghosts resides at the intersection of actual experience, perceived memory, and transformation. Frank and Adrienne, two well-known artists, share their stories onstage through original music, spoken word, soundscapes, video, installation art, and more.
Frank Ferraro, diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease 15 years ago, provides a personal glimpse into his altered reality, while Adrienne Wehr reveals how challenges—like unraveling the impact of fear, dealing with loss, and learning to forgive—reign as our greatest teachers. Both remind us, that there is much we all share in the way of common human experience, and regardless the obstacle along the way, acceptance, release, and triumph are indeed possible after all.
The nature of this piece is out of the norm for our local stages; most timely for these divisive times we find ourselves amidst as it explores our connection to one another; this premiere may well serve as launch pad for export of the work onto the world stage, and it is a culmination of years of work for journeyman artists, Frank and Adrienne…all that they’ve done before this has led them to this new place of discovery.
