Unique way to teach screenwriting. We play a classic movie and stop it 2-3 times to explain how the writer conveyed information to us.
There are 26 different items a screenwriter must think about. Anatomy of a Movie uses movies and film clips to provide examples of the 26. In this edition, we are showing the movie version of Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead". Rand was both the novelist and the screenwriter. She provided one of the 26 as well as any screenwriter. The movie is also one of the best "novel to film" events ever.
Event will be held at the JVH Auditorium on Point Park's campus. Note: this is not a Point Park event but PP students, staff and alumni are invited.
