gland(remix) is a mutilated history of skunks featuring puppets, piano remixes, plagues, a dancing bear, and skunks.
In the time of the plagues, when skunks still made fire instead of fumes, a greathorned owl falls prey to an old flame, bleeding through the forest floor to the roots. No one seems to mind the ensuing imbalances and infestations too much–some are even soaking in the bloodbath! But when a juvenile skunk meets her match and sets the forest ablaze, bitter suffering boils up to the surface, and the ashes permutate flaming ardor into holy submission, glandular exploration, and temporary blindness. Do you want to be the clown?
Admission can be purchased at the door for $5-20 sliding scale (no one turned away for lack of funds).

Doors open at 6:30 pm for pre-show drinks and conversation.
Anna Azizzy and Unicorns in the Snow will kick off the night with two video performances at 7:00 pm.
The play starts at 8:00 pm.
gland(remix) will show at the Wilkinsburg Civic Center for the Arts the following day at 7:00 pm (doors at 6:20 pm, no opening acts).
