Meadowcroft will serve as a host venue for an educational woodland walk, highlighting Pennsylvania’s forest and wildlife resources from prehistory to modern day.
In cooperation with the Pennsylvania Forestry Association, Penn State, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, as well as others across the commonwealth, Meadowcroft will serve as a host venue for an educational woodland walk, highlighting Pennsylvania’s forest and wildlife resources from prehistory to modern day. Travel through time on a 2-mile hike in the footsteps of our hunter-gatherer predecessors. Learn about the flora and fauna the prehistoric people used as a source for food and materials needed to survive.
The walk will depart from the visitor center at 1:00 p.m. and last two hours, ending at 3:00 p.m.
