The juror for the event is  Patricia Barefoot , an artist and professor.  She holds degrees from Indiana University of PA and Carnegie Mellon University. She will be selecting works by artists from a 150 mile radius of Cranberry Township for the 2017 Martinis with Monet Exhibition at the Cranberry Township Municipal Building.  Barefoot has presented works on paper, assembling remnants of found paper with female forms. Her drawings, always created with an acknowledgement and respect for the power of marks, transcends the medium to become characters in their own right.   She has received many awards, such as the LeWinter Moulding Award in the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh Annual Exhibition. In 1998, her work was selected for an exhibition at The Carnegie called \"New Works.\" Currently, she is in the process of integrating her multi-disciplinary background with her poetry. 

The exhibition's grand opening is at 7:00 pm, July 12, 2017 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center on Rochester Road in Cranberry Township. Awards will be announced that evening. The Art Exhibit Opening  is a fund raiser for the Cranberry Township Community Chest's Project of the Year. Tickets cost $10 in advance at the Municipal Building or on-line, or $15 at the door.
