Each fall, Sweetwater celebrates the Mavuno Fesitval: Celebration of African American Arts and Culture, and 2021 is Mavuno’s 25th anniversary
Mavuno Festival, Saturday 18th, 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The festival will be located at Sewickley’s Riverfront Park, 300 Chadwick Street, Sewickley, PA 15143 and is FREE and open to the public.
Sweetwater in partnership with Sadik Roberts owner/founder of Pyramid Pittsburgh is proud to bring you the Mavuno Festival. Join us to celebrate Mavuno’s 25th year. This outdoor festival will showcase regional black owned businesses, artists and vendors. The festival will offer an artist market that will include various artists, apparel and beauty vendors, the Restart the Arts Truck Restart the Arts - Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council courtesy of the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council. Live music provided by LOCAL 412. Live music includes NON1, SpecialK, Fresco Savant and Barbados Black.
