Film Pittsburgh’s 9th annual ReelAbilities Pittsburgh film festival will run September 8 – 12, 2021 at the Carnegie Museum of Art. The festival includes 12 features and short films that explore and celebrate the stories of individuals living with disabilities. Two films, a feature and a short, will be available virtually for the full run of the festival. The films screening in the theater will be presented with open captions, audio description, ASL interpretation, and other accommodations, free of charge. The Carnegie Museum of Art is fully accessible. The festival will also include Q&As with visiting filmmakers, an art exhibit, and receptions.
Through impactful films and engaging programs, ReelAbilities Pittsburgh brings people together to explore and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience. Film Pittsburgh presents independent films from around the world, deepening audiences’ understanding of various cultures, expanding acceptance, and recognizing our common humanity.
