Throughout June, we will honor Juneteenth, celebrating the emancipation proclamation, which freed all enslaved people in the United States — a celebration that first began in 1865.
Join our naturalist educators for a tour of the From Slavery to Freedom Garden. Learn about the garden and the importance of plants and nature in the lives of Freedom Seekers. A reflective poetry exercise, plant identification and short hike will be a part of this experience.
