Are you interested in learning how to code? Our “Virtual On-Ramp to Python” is an introduction for individuals who are comfortable using a computer but have no previous programming experience. Python is a widely used, general purpose programming language. Participants will complete programming topics using an online learning website for Python and also meet virtually for six consecutive Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Virtual meetings will include time for review, questions, exercises, and live instructor coding. We will cover the fundamentals of coding including variables, conditionals, loops, lists, and functions.
A computer and internet are required for the class, webcam preferred. Waitlisted participants will be notified when future On-Ramp to Python groups are starting.
This six-week course will meet virtually for 6 evenings from 6:30 to 8pm on Tuesdays: 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17
As an asset of the Allegheny County Regional Asset District, CLP is excited to participate in RADical Days 2020 with a collection of free virtual programs and events!
This event is free to the public and registration will be on a first come, first served basis. Waitlisted participants will be notified when future On-Ramp to Python groups are starting.
