Managing the Financial Fallout from the Coronavirus Crisis

Managing the Financial Fallout from the Coronavirus Crisis

Presented by Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council at Online/Virtual Space

It is estimated that, on average, artists have lost more than $20,000 in income from cancelled shows, festivals and other gigs due to the coronavirus pandemic. Likewise, arts organizations have lost a staggering $5.9 billion nationwide due to pandemic-related closures. Despite the varied federal and state emergency relief that has been available, this “relief” may not be enough to sustain working artists and organizations through the pandemic.
