Artist Happy Hour Series: Maia Leppo

Presented by Touchstone Center for Crafts at Online/Virtual Space

In this week’s Happy Hour, we sit down with Maia Leppo to talk about her work and studio practice. Maia is a jewelry artist who lives in Pittsburgh and works out of her studio at the Brewhouse Association on the Southside. She works mostly with steel and incorporates ceramics, found objects, and some unconventional materials in her work.

Maia graduated from Tufts University in Massachusetts with a degree in Biology and Community Health. She received training in jewelry and metals from various craft schools, and received a Masters of Fine Art from SUNY New Paltz. Maia teaches workshops at Touchstone Center for Crafts as well as other locations. Her work is available in museums and galleries across the country.
