A Drive-By Art Exhibit made in anticipation of and under the Quarantine. 80 Paintings Oil on Wood Panel.
Produced during the 60 plus days of isolation, this body of work reveals moments from the darkest hours and sheds a humorous light on our shared new reality.
All the work is currently viewable on Facebook and some on Instagram. On Facebook search Michel Demetria Tsouris. But you are invited and encouraged and welcome to come to my DRIVE-BY exhibit or make an appointment to come inside.
Several works included in the series appropriate, reinterpret and re-contextualize master works from art history-telling a different story, the same story but with a different ending, a different story with the same ending...pulling lives and tales together over a span of many hundreds of years and also 60our ongoing days of isolation.
Viewing is free and open to the public...from the outside in. The exhibit will be displayed in our gallery with very very large windows open to all three streets, Friendship, Euclid and Baum

There will be poetry and text accompanying the work, for educational and informational purposes. All works are oil on wood panel, and you can contact the artist for an appointment to step briefly inside the gallery , masked and unarmed...please.
