The Heinz History Center will welcome Dr. Danielle Battisti for a lecture on her book, “Whom We Shall Welcome: Italian Americans and Immigration Reform” (Fordham University Press, 2019) on April 6.
Dr. Battisti’s book examines both the liberal and conservative elements of Italian American efforts to influence American immigration policies in the 1950s and 1960s.
