DEAI Lunch & Learn: Diversifying Your Audiences

DEAI Lunch & Learn: Diversifying Your Audiences

Presented by Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council at The Big Room at the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council

What do we really mean when we talk about diversifying our audiences? Let's drill down and get to the essential questions. Do we care about these new audience members? Who are these unnamed others, anyway? Why is diversity important? Let's find out together.

Lunch provided.

ABOUT THE DEAI WORKSHOP SERIES
The Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council offers this workshop series focusing on diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion (DEAI), hosted by GPAC Diversity Catalyst Cecile Shellman. Cecile (she/her/hers) is a long-time advocate for DEAI practices in the arts. This series hopes to unite the Pittsburgh arts and culture community and the public to discuss “uncomfortable” topics that must be unpacked and addressed to support a vibrant and equitable city of arts.
