This workshop is designed to be useful for anyone who wants to learn or improve on visual storytelling techniques, whether you want to be a filmmaker or you are interested in making a documentary. In this workshop you will learn how filmmakers structure their narratives to keep viewers engaged.

Over the course of 5 weeks (2 hrs. a week), producer-director Jose Muniain and cinematographer Mark Knobil will take you through the complete documentary process from ideation to completion, or, if you have a documentary idea already in mind, this workshop can help you streamline your process. We will also practice cinematography and lighting techniques.
