The South Hills Children’s Choir presents “Across the Sweeping Tundra”, a shimmering night of choral music with special guests a string quintet from Youth Chamber Connection.
"Wide, worn, and weathered, sacred expanse." The Tundra, a vast, frozen region of stark beauty is captured in its namesake song by Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo. The South Hills Children's Choir and special guests, the Cygnus Quartet, string players of Youth Chamber Connection, will explore its sacred, stunning, and silvery sounds. Enjoy other choral music by John Rutter, Maurice Duruflé, Gabriel Fauré, and Antonio Vivaldi along with holiday songs sure to brighten any winter night and any musical palette. Join us December 13, 2019 at 7 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Mt. Lebanon.
