Join us as we celebrate acclaimed Spanish translator Lisa Dillman in the third installment of our Art of Translation Series.
Lisa will read from several of her works including Such Small Hands (2017) by Andrés Barba, Dog (forthcoming) by Pilar Quintana, and The Transmigration of Bodies by Yuri Herrera. Lisa will complement her reading with discussions centered around creating productive bonds with a wide variety of authors and literary voices.

Lisa Dillman is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Emory University and a literary translator who has translated over twenty-five novels by Latin American and Spanish writers. She is currently translating La Perra, a novel by Colombian writer Pilar Quintana.
