Attendees will experience a wide range of published and self-published autobiographic comics, will learn how to use the comics grid to pace out stories, and will learn how to play the dance between images and words in comics.
Comics are the perfect, multimodal approach to capture and share the essence of what our subjective lives feel like. Using drawing, writing, diagramming and the collage-like capacity of comics, attendees will learn how to keep a comics diary and how their comics can be used for reflection, meditation, and healing.
