In our second year of producing  VILAYA (the confluence), Nandanik Dance Troupe is presenting two beautiful events that blend traditional art  with contemporary stories.

Yatra- the journey is a Kathak and Kuchipudi  duet by Canada based artists Tanveer Alam and Harikishan S. Nair. This is a rare event presenting two male  Indian classical dancers  performing duets.

Card Country- a musical by Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore about breaking barriers of stereotypes,stigmas, and prejudices in society while encouraging freedom.of thought and expression. Directed by Nandini Mandal and Sanjib Bhattacharya in Manipuri Bharatanatyam and Contemporary techniques. Presented in traditional dancedrama style from India
