Painting! Pattern! Politics! A Creative Workshop with Ruth Root

Painting! Pattern! Politics! A Creative Workshop with Ruth Root

Presented by Carnegie Museum of Art at Artists Image Resource

Ruth Root is a New York–based artist whose unruly paintings push the boundaries of the medium. The 81st installment of Carnegie Museum of Art’s Forum series, opening April 18, debuts a new body of her work.

Come create patterns and design textiles in this exciting workshop!

This program is organized in partnership with Artists Image Resource (AIR). Makers of all ages and levels are invited to participate.
