Shana Simmons Dance seeks advancement of quality dance performance, and larger
engagement with audiences and the community, through financially accessible interactive and
immersive productions. Our work relies heavily on partnerships and outreach to explore topics
relevant to our community at large with a heavy focus on the integration of movement in
Shana Simmons Dance is a performance troupe based in Pittsburgh, PA that produces
collaborative dance works with

Jane Vranish, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, 2018 The Missing Peace, a Shana Simmons Dance production, is a full length dance performance dedicated to those who have been affected by Alzheimer's Disease, suicide, and struggle with self-identity. Created by choreographers Jamie Erin Murphy, Brady Sanders, & Shana Simmons, The Missing Peace weaves together three works that invoke hope, empathy and inspire action.
