Whispers by Jezline Loretta is showing virtually as part of the 2023 Pittsburgh Virtual Fringe – “walk” through the gallery at your own time during the festival, April 26th – April 30th.
What does it mean to be the other within society? What does it mean to be considered invisible or irrelevant in a world where relevance seems to equate value? The title of the Exhibition “Whispers” connotes the perceived muteness or silence that the people who are most affected by racism and poverty often experience. The exhibition focuses on topics such as Black history, the civil rights movement, fatherlessness, and medical equity.
