The Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club meets the third Tuesday of each month (March through November) at the Frick Environmental Center.
Each meeting features updates on club activities, a speaker/presentation, a mushroom identification table, and mushroom-related merchandise for sale. This month’s speaker will be Garrett Taylor, a regional mycologist conducting DNA barcoding research in his home lab. He will present a talk titled “Deoxyribonucleic Acid & Me”. Meetings are free and open to the public.
