Join us in the Art Studio to celebrate the life and legacy of Louis Braille and learn about his contributions to literacy for everyone!
This program is presented as part of Braille Literacy Month. Meet guests from the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
Hands-on activities include:
- Touch & examine braille books
- Use a slate and stylus to write a message
- Hunt for braille around the Museum.
- Hear Louis Braille's story at a special story time featuring the book Six Dots by Jen Bryant
