In this fall’s Teaching Artist Initiative workshop, we will be joined by members of the #notwhite collective, a group of 13 women artists whose mission is to use non-individualistic, multi-disciplinary art to make our stories visible as we relate, connect, and belong to the global majority.
Join the Arts Council, Mary Brenholts with Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media, teaching artist Maritza Mosquera, and the #notwhite collective to explore, investigate, and share personal practices with fellow TA leaders who are expanding the craft, building community, offering spaces of care, and connecting with each other and schools/communities throughout the region. Members of the #notwhite collective will share their work and approaches, listen to your experiences, and join together celebrating creativity in this virtual hands-on and mind-lit workshop.
