Spirit’s 6th Annual Summer Recess Food and Music Festival

Daytime festival goers can eat, shop, and mingle with a thoughtfully curated group of some of our favorite local vendors, plus interact with and support countless artists within the community. The Main Stage will return to 51st Street, in front of Spirit, featuring Atlanta-based garage punks Black Lips as the headlining act. New York-based DJs Coco and Breezy will finish out the event headlining the Hall stage after dark.

DAYTIME musical performances:

As always, we’ll be hosting a brand new Spirit Walls mural curated by Sasha Primo and Brian Gonnella, featuring artwork by Joe Craft, Rosabel Rosalind, Sophia Pappas, Camden Yandel, Pedro Ibarra, and higu

Vendors this year will include food from Spirit Wood Fired Pizza, Caffe D' Amore, Pittsburgh Taco Boys, The Fat Butcher, Pure Grub, Piebird, Scratch & Co., and Sultan Doner Gyro, plus Streakers Vintage, Commonwealth Press, Matt Izzi, Shop Collarbone, Erica Mirella Tattoo, Maggie Negrete, BB's Ceramics, Ki the Barber, Paul Haggerty, Rosabel Rosalind, Sophia Pappas, Flipping Records, Millie’s Homemade Lawrenceville, Gari Shoyu Sando Co, Izzi Baits, La Mama Magia, Dave Watt, Max Wesoloski, ARK Metalsmith, Lizzee Solomon Studios, and Otto Fin.

Plus Bingo Bango salon in the Lodge all day hosted by Alex and Dhusty, massages by Smellis Ellis, Rock n Roll Haircuts by Carrie Battle, and nails by Paige from Evolve.

The daytime portion of the festival is free from 2-5pm / $5 after 5pm, ALL AGES, from 2pm-9pm.

The after party is indoors on both levels, with food available from Spirit’s kitchen and full bars on both floors: 21+, 9pm-2am.
