Riverfront Theater Company Presents Xanadu

Riverfront Theater Company’s Young Artists will transport audiences back to the 80s when their production of XANADU skates into Allegheny RiverTrail Park from August 3–6, 2022. This Tony Award-nominated, hilarious, roller-skating, musical adventure rolls along to the original hit score composed by pop-rock legends Jeff Lynne and John Farrar. Based on the Universal Pictures cult classic movie of the same title, which starred Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly, XANADU is hilarity on wheels for adults, children and anyone who has ever wanted to feel inspired.

Riverfront Theater Company’s production features a cast of 20 talented young artists from throughout the Pittsburgh area representing 13 local school districts: Nera Akiva (Falk), Anna Balich (The Ellis School), Mia Damico (Woodland Hills), Tyler Drum (Fox Chapel Area), Vie Filar (Fox Chapel Area), Juliet Forrest (North Allegheny), Daniel Frontz (CAPA), Grace Gouwens (Fox Chapel Area), Lauren Michael (Hampton), Alex Milchovich (Peters Township), Max Milligan (Shaler Area), Kris Pizzella (Fox Chapel Area), Paige Purcell (Lincoln Park Performing Arts), Piper Redford (Lincoln Park Performing Arts), Sophia Rike (Fox Chapel Area), Liv Rocco (Woodland Hills), Maddie Smith (Peters Township), Saffron Stefanini (Westinghouse Arts Academy), Sidda Sykes (Riverview), and Margaret Valentine (Oakland Catholic).
