Pittsburgh Film Kitchen presented by Jump Cut Theater is a monthly series featuring independent film and video work from regional artists screening the second Tuesday of each month.

This month Film Kitchen is featuring a retrospective and conversation about the WQED television series Black Horizons.

WQED Pittsburgh’s Black Horizons went on the air in the tumultuous year of 1968 shortly after the assassinations of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Robert Kennedy, and after the civil unrest at the Chicago Democratic Convention and in cities across the country.
