Pittsburgh 10+… Small Works/Little Treasures

Pittsburgh 10 + Friends, will present a new exhibit, Small Works/Little Treasures, at the Wilkins School Community Center (WSCC). The exhibit will open to the public on Saturday, February 22 and run through March 32. This is a group exhibition that includes works by the core group of artists making up the Pittsburgh 10 + and is presented at The Gallery at the Wilkins School Community Center, 7406 Charleston Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15218. The exhibit will include small works, no larger than 30 inches in any direction. The featured small works are to be contemporary in character, and vary in medium, technique, style and subject matter.

An Opening/Artists’ Reception, Free and open to the public, will be held Thursday, Saturday, February 22, from 3:00 to 5:00PM. A series of Artist/Gallery talks and demonstrations, each one featuring participating artists, will be presents through run the run of the exhibition. The exhibit includes 13 professional artists with extensive exhibition experience. The works are contemporary in character and run the gamut from abstract expressionism to realism, and represent unique perspectives, including painting, photography, fiber, mixed media and more. Participating artists are: Pittsburgh 10+ member artists Robert Bowden, Deborah Kollar, George Kollar, Kathi DePasse, Jane Ogren, Phiris (Kathy) Sickels, Kara Snyder, David Sparks, Susan Sparks, Dirk VandenBerg, Francine VandenBerg, David Watts and Kathleen Zimbicki.
