OSOBA at the Pittsburgh Fringe Festival

A dance piece concerning A.I, global warming, and the future. Created by Sophie McClung, produced by Ghostlight Theatre Company, and performed by dance students at Point Park University.

OSOBA invites audience members to take part in an immersive exhibition, where A.I. “historians” showcase the efforts they have made to preserve humanity after its demise. It will ask the audience to consider the implications of our current relationship with artificial intelligence and how our future will be shaped given the inevitable influence of technology.

Please Note: Admission is FREE however the capacity for the space is limited; admittance will be on a first come, first served basis.​

(If you buy a 2023 Pittsburgh Fringe Button you receive $3 off every show.  You can buy buttons in advance online, and pick up at Fringe Central at our main campus on Penn Ave before heading to your show.  You must show your button in order to gain entrance to any performance on a button discounted ticket.)

Venue note: Enter through Lawrence Hall and follow signs to the lobby of the GRW Dance Complex, where the ticketing table will be ready to greet you. Also, there will be an optional talkback after the show.
