A program featuring popular opera selections arranged for instrumental solo, performed by members of the Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra.
The Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra will present “Scenes of An Opera: Opera Without Words” for its final concert of the season. Soloists Deborah Silverstein, flute; James Cunningham, trumpet; Julia Simeone, violin; Ryellen Joaquim, viola and Christopher Corbett, clarinet will perform best-loved selections in both their original format and in new arrangements created especially for their instrument.
